The Rights to the Streets of Memphis

This is a picture of the boy defending himself with the stick
All the little boy wanted was some food, because he was hungry.
His mom gave him money to go to the store to get groceries.
This is when the little kid got beat up by the big kids in the street.
His house where he lived
His mom yelling at him to go get the groceries.

Word cloud

Wordle: Untitled

I used the word blood and mole because the story is about mole blood. I put the words three, drops, diseases and cure because these descibe specific scenes in the short story. Helpful, spooky, frightened, and brave are all emotions in the story. Helpful because the store owner helps the old lady get blood. Spooky and brave because the main character is freaked out by the old lady and he is being brave by helping her. The word knife represents the knife that he used to cut himself to give the lady blood.

All of the words above are necessary for the image because they are main points or objects in the short story. The word blood is bigger than all the other words because its the title.  Diffirent would of been another good name for this story because its weird and very random. Also creepy because who wants mole blood?

I chose to do the word cloud because it seemed easy and would give someone a good idea of the story.

identity factors

This assingment is a powerpoint about the 4 identity factors that make me, me. In each slide I inserted a quote from a article about each identity factor and said how it relates to me. Then I gave it a citation and put it more into detail.

summary and reaction

Summary

"Big Data Knows What Your Doing Right Now", by the author Martha C. White is about how corporations are finding out everything about consumers. By putting many programs together the goverment can figure eveything out. Also, once you put information out on the internet its there forever, you cant get it back. You also cant always trust the internet because it could be wrong. For example, you could right someone off as being undisirable and that may or may not be true. Outside of the U.S. most countrys grant legal rights for people to acess other people's personal info.

Reactions

Martha C. White, author of "Big Data Knows What Your Doing Right Now" says, "Information is currency, that we tend to forget" (www.moneyland.com). This is true because someone could turn around right after you give them your information and make a profit off of it. For example, some companies will get your phone number from you in which they could sell to telemarketers.

Martha C. White, author of "Big Data Knows What Your Doing Right Now" once said, "After we give our information away theres no telling what the goverment does with it" (www.moneyland.com). This is kind of like when you put your information out on the internet anyone can acess it and/or  use it. For instince, if you put your adress or full name in facebook people can copy that onto other posts and websites. So while this isnt necessary the goverment it could be a harmful person.
